TiOx-230 is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment manufactured by the sulfate process. TiOx-230 is surface treated with aluminum, silicon compounds and organic matter for ease of dispersion and exterior durability. It is approved for food contact applications in 21 CFR 178.3297.
TiOx-230 is recommended for plastics, industrial paints, paper coatings, printing inks and rubber.
