1836 is an opaque grade of PO 36 that exhibits a reddish shade orange with excellent light and weatherfastness characteristics. 1836 has high opacity and good flow properties in all types of coatings.
1836 is used extensively for automotive (OEM and refinish), agricultural equipment and general industrial applications. Combinations with quinacridone pigments can be formulated to produce various RAL 3000 shades (fire engine red, carmine, ruby, tomato red shades, etc). 1836 is also frequently used throughout the printing ink industry for letterpress, offset inks, packaging gravure, metal deco printing and flexographic inks. Selected uses can also be found in the plastics industry.
