PR-215 is a barium salt, non-resinated, semi-transparent type that is a bright yellow shade red with excellent tinting strength and chroma. PR-215 is noticeably yellower in shade than the PR-256.
PR-215 is used as a standard warm red for water and solvent based printing inks of many types in addition to UV Inks. Due to the excellent heat stability, applications are found in various plastics such as PVC, PO, rubber and other areas. PR-215 is suitable for selected solvent-based coatings and for powder coatings.
