New Organic Products
2194 Benzimidazolone Yellow 194 (PY 194) is a bright shade yellow with very good light and weather fastness, especially in deep shades. 2194 is recommended as a cost effective product in industrial paints and powder coatings.
2154 Benzimidazolone Yellow 154 (PY 154) is a green shade yellow with excellent fastness properties. It is primarily recommended for high quality industrial finishes.
1219 Quinacridone Red Violet 19 (PV 19) is a bright, yellow-shade red quinacridone with excellent bleed fastness, lightfastness, and weatherfastness. It is a good alternative to Clariant’s Red E5B-02 and is recommended for coatings, plastics, and ink applications. This product is FDA approved (Section 178.3297).
2183-A Azo Yellow 183(PY 183) is an FDA approved (Section 178.3297), non-warping, red-shade yellow with excellent heat stability. It is recommended for plastics, as well as powder coating applications.
2180 Benzimidazolone Yellow 180 (PY 180) is an FDA Approved (Section 178.3297) non-warping, green shade yellow with excellent heat stability. The 2180 is recommended for use in various plastics such as for PVC, polyolefins, rubber, PS, PP, PET, engineering plastics and for spin dyeing.
1176 Benzimidazolone Red 176 (PR 176) is a low cost alternative to Clariant’s Carmine HF3C. The 1176 Benzimidazolone Red 176 is even more transparent in solvent inks where it is valued for its good lightfastness. The product is recommended for paints, inks, and low temperature plastic applications.
032-185 Toluidine Red 3 (PR 3) is a yellow-shade Red 3 similar to Clariant’s Scarlet RNC type. It is our yellowest Toluidine and is recommended for the traditional paint applications.
New Inorganic Products
8045 Buff Rutile Titanium Dioxide is a buff colored titanium dioxide that is used as a substitute for white titanium dioxide to reduce cost. Applications include coatings and plastics to provide opacity where the desired color is not a bright white.
RC-822 Rutile Titanium Dioxide is a high quality chloride process titanium dioxide with high gloss and tint retention properties in exterior applications. It is comparable to DuPont R 960, Kronos 2160 and Millennium RCL568.
Tan 221 Zinc Ferrite (PY 119) is a tan pigment primarily utilized in plastics due to its temperature stability up to 500° F. It has excellent lightfastness and chemical stability. It is an alternate to Tan 10A.
UPL 2905 Ultramarine Blue (PB 29) is a red shade ultramarine blue with good strength and stability intended for plastics and coatings. UPL 2905 is similar to Holliday 5008.
UPL 3376H Ultramarine Blue (PB 29) is a medium shade ultramarine blue with good strength and stability intended for plastics and coatings. UPL 3376H is similar to Holliday 5151.
UPL 34595 Ultramarine Blue (PB 29) is a green shade ultramarine blue with good stability for plastics and coatings. UPL 34595 is similar to Holliday 5002.
265 Wacor 15 is a borate modified zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigment developed to replace zinc chromates. Wacor 15 is optimized for waterborne coatings including alkyds and epoxies; and for replacing basic zinc chromate in wash primers.
285 Wacor ZAP is an aluminum modified zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigment that is effective in solvent borne long oil alkyds, epoxies, polyurethanes and chlorinated polymers; and waterborne soluble alkyds, epoxy emulsions and silicon resins. 285 Wacor ZAP is an offset for Heucophos ZPA.
