Chief Executive Officer
Chuck joined DCL as CEO in January 2019. He has over 20 years of experience in leading global specialty chemical businesses with a track record of building strong teams and achieving exceptional growth. He previously served as President of Huber Engineered Materials at J.M. Huber where he oversaw 1,800+ employees and 17 plants. He also held numerous leadership roles at Ashland, including Vice President of the Coatings Additives business. Chuck has extensive international experience, including 5 years based in Singapore, and he has executed multiple acquisitions across Europe, Asia, and North America. Chuck earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BS in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware.
Senior Operating Advisor
Don joined Landers Segal Color Company (LANSCO Colors) in 1980; rising to President and CEO in 1996, a position which he held for 22 years until the merger with Dominion Colour Company in 2018 to form DCL Corporation. He has since served as the Chief Revenue Officer for the combined company. Effective June 1, 2020, Donald was named Senior Operating Advisor where he will be a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team. He will continue to be a member of the Executive Team and a member of the DCL Board of Directors. His extensive knowledge of the pigment business and industry relationships will be vital as we make this transition and beyond. Donald attended New York University, earning degrees in Economics and Philosophy.
Chief Commercial Officer
Magen joined DCL in 2019 as the Executive Vice President. On June 1, 2020, she was appointed to Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to working at DCL, she was the president of TenEx Technologies, LLC, a start-up company focused on developing innovative, materials-based technology solutions for the oil and gas industry. She built the company from the ground up and successfully commercialized three new nanotechnology-based products for enhanced oil recovery in under two years. Prior to TenEx, Buterbaugh was the global business director for fluorochemicals at the DuPont Company and then subsequently, its spinoff, Chemours. She spent 15 years with DuPont, where she held positions in engineering, operations, consulting, product management, business development, sales management and business management across several polymers and chemicals-based businesses. Magen holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, where she was just named a 2020 Outstanding Engineering Alumni, and an MBA from Widener University.
Chief Financial Officer
Eddie joined DCL Corporation in 2020. He has served in various executive finance and corporate taxation roles across several diverse industries including vertically integrated manufacturing and entertainment media entities. Eddie’s focus throughout his career has been on driving cross-functional efficiencies with an entrepreneurial mindset applied to all deliverables. Prior to joining DCL, he was Chief Financial Officer of Ignite International Brands, Ltd., a publicly-traded, CSE listed company focusing on multiple branded product platforms across global markets. Prior appointments include Chief Financial Officer of Mircom Technologies Ltd., a privately held, vertically integrated Canadian entity operating in the highly regulated, global fire and life safety marketplace and Vice President of Global Taxation at Royal Group Technologies Ltd., a $2 billion publicly traded Canadian company. Eddie holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Toronto as well as an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University. Eddie is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant.
Vice President, Human Resources
Nicolette started her career at DCL in 2021. She is an accomplished HR Professional with an operational focus, dedicated to partnering with business unit leaders to provide value-added solutions. She has held several prominent positions in human resources in her career. Previously, she held the position of HR Director with Atlantic Packaging providing corporate HR support for over 1500 employees across 8 manufacturing locations and 4 distribution centers. Before that she worked at ERCO Worldwide and AECOM in managerial Human Resource positions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto and is a Certified HR Leader.
Vice President, Operations
Wayne joined DCL in May of 2021 as the Vice President of Operations. He brings over 25 years of manufacturing leadership experience with a proven record in increasing profitability, creating an engaged workforce, and being a catalyst for satisfied customer relationships. His most recent experience is from Ferro Corporation where he was the North American Operations Manager overseeing 10 US facilities. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Operations Manager at Zotos International, and Chemical Production Manager at Fuller Brush Company. Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, a Masters of Science in Production and Operation Management from Central Michigan University; and a Masters of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Colorado. Wayne has several certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt, Certification in Leadership Development from the University of Maryland, and Leadership Excellence Program from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
