Scott Davido

Interim CEO

Scott Davido joined DCL in November 2022 as Chief Restructuring Officer, and was appointed Interim CEO in March 2023 as part of its ownership transition. Scott has successfully led companies for 25 years in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, energy, retail, and healthcare. He has served in both permanent and interim roles as a CEO, President and COO, CFO, and CLO for companies undergoing transitions. Scott’s professional experience includes serving as CEO and president of Advantage Rent a Car, at the time the fourth-largest mobility provider in the U.S.; CFO and CRO of Calpine Corporation, one of the nation’s largest wholesale electricity generation companies, overseeing its successful turnaround; and President of the largest operating division of NRG, another leading wholesale electricity generation company. Scott has also served as an independent director on the board of Special Metals Corporation, a leading metal alloy manufacturer. Prior to his corporate career, Scott was a partner in the corporate group at the Jones Day law firm, and prior to his law career in public accounting with Ernst & Young.

Peter Baggen

Vice President Sales

Peter Baggen started his career at DCL in 2017, bringing with him 27 years of leadership experience. Prior to DCL, he was the Business Unit Director for Paints and Plastics EMEA at FP Pigments (2015-2016) and before that, the Director of Business Unit Industrial coatings at J.W. Ostendorf GmbH & Co. KG (2015) and the Managing Director EMA EVP at Chromaflo Technologies (2013-2014). He spent 11 years at CPS Color, starting as a Sales and Marketing Director and moving up to the Global Business Unit Director Colorants, EVP. Before joining Chromaflo, Peter was the Marketing and Key Account Manager at Tikkurila (1999-2002), Sales Manager at Winter-Bouts (1996-1999) and Head of the Sales Office Benelux at NV Koninklijke Sphinx (1991-1996). He holds a Bachelors from the College for Higher Education for Economics and Administration (HEAO), and a MBA from the Postgraduate University Centre Limburg in Diepenbeek (Belgium).

Wayne Besler

Vice President, Operations

Wayne joined DCL in May of 2021 as the Vice President of Operations.  He brings over 25 years of manufacturing leadership experience with a proven record in increasing profitability, creating an engaged workforce, and being a catalyst for satisfied customer relationships. His most recent experience is from Ferro Corporation where he was the North American Operations Manager overseeing 10 US facilities.  Prior to this, he worked as Senior Operations Manager at Zotos International, and Chemical Production Manager at Fuller Brush Company.  Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, a Masters of Science in Production and Operation Management from Central Michigan University; and a Masters of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Colorado. Wayne has several certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt, Certification in Leadership Development from the University of Maryland, and Leadership Excellence Program from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
